I spent months making the switch from the Ashkenazi to the Sefardi/Israeli pronunciation of Hebrew (as a statement of support for Zionism). I must admit that, when I heard the samples of Aron Razel's two songs--one in Ashkenazi, one in Sefardi--I could hardly believe that both were being sung by the same singer.
Kol hakavod to you. What a beautiful way to honor your cantor father's memory.

Sorry--the needle got stuck in the groove. :) (My age is showing, I'm sure :) ).
