Their latest thing is that they want to authorize govt agencies to INSPECT every home that has children in it to ascertain that there are no dangers- ie the drano is not locked up, stairs have gates etc. so that they can save $$ on emergency room visits by children who get hurt at home. if that is not an invasion of privacy I dont know what is. why do we need govt that involved in our day to day lives? Its insane!!

you have got to be kidding. the usa today does a very poor job in using evidence-based treatment plans. by many measures of public health outcomes we are at the bottom of the heap in the developed world. so you think that the insurance companies we use now are incentivized any differently than the govt to spend health care $?
