Steak on Monday
I have had business lunches the last two days at fine kosher restaurants in Manhattan. Of course, because of the nine days, I had to order fish each time. Don't get me wrong, the dishes were great, but they were fish.
I have yet another business lunch scheduled for Monday. I am so ordering steak.

Don't complain. My "lunches" usually consist of fruit, whole wheat crackers, and some water between patients.

I would love to go out and eat at an upscale restaurant. Unfortunately I cannot afford to do that. The only problem I have with fish is that it never fills me up. Maybe you should become a Sefardi since they don't have the same restrictions during the nine days.

MOChassid - I have gone through the SAME thing last couple of days. Solo has GREAT fish though, Blue Fin Tuna and a Dover Sole with Asian Spring Rolls Appetizer....yum yum!

I was there Tuesday. I also had the Blue Fin Tuna. As I said, I wasn't complaining.

All these lunches are expense account lunches. I rarely pay and if I do it's charged to my company.
