Amazing Gracelessness

In February, I wrote:

* Will Hillary slink away graciously or will she engage in a death fight until the end? Assuming she loses Texas and Ohio, will she concede? Grace is not a word normally associated with the Clintons. I have my money on a fight to the death.
Obviously, it was no big chiddush that she would fight, tooth and nail, to the end. In a certain way, one must admire her tenaciousness.

On the other hand, even I was taken aback by her utter lack of grace on Tuesday evening when she spoke after the final two primaries.

Despite the fact that the fat lady had sung, she still wouldn't make nice and concede. What a wretched woman. What a wretched couple.

I don't like people who don't like the Clintons. They are good, smart people, who gave their lives to public service, and gave us 8 years of peace and propesrity, and Emrican pride.

Such a contrast with the shrub.

Anyway, how is Hillary hanging on to the end different from the grabbing and principle stomping we saw from Bush in Florida in 2000? If her father had appointed the umpires, perhaps she, too, would have eventually prevailed over Obama.

She had just won South Dakota by 15 points.

When you win a victory so huge you just up and drop.
When that many people vote for you and you win, you dont jsut up and drop that second.

Ted Kennedy and Gary Hart both took the fight to the convention with much less.

Clinton staying in the race helped America in a way no one has. 4 to 5 times as many people avtually voted in this parimary race than the total number of voters in previous races. States that never counted suddenly got attention and face time form candidates. both Obama and Hillary got close to 18 million votes a pice. the total number kerry in 04 or even mccain this year are a fraction of that.

this years democratic race is one of the greatest things to happen to this country. people got involved, people care, people are no longer apathetic.

Wretched? Wretched? Dont try to hide your hate.

The clintons have and continue to do so much good. Wretched is for imbeciles like Rice and Bush who have sold us up a creek with their ineptitudes.
